I would like to be personally fitted for my putter. What do you charge for a personal fitting session and how long does it take?
There is no charge for a personal fitting session at our Golf Lab headquarters in Ocala, FL. It usually takes about 30 minutes. Twenty minutes to fit you and ten minutes to cut your putter shaft to length and install the grip. You may call us at 352-351-3959 Monday-Friday 9:00 am EST to 6:00 pm EST to make your appointment.
Are all REESO Putter models USGA Conforming?
Yes, all REESO Putter models and the Adjustable Travel Shaft Conform with the USGA Rules of Golf. The two primary rules which apply to the design of putters are Rule 4-1 and Appendix II. Rule 4-1 is the general rule regarding the form and make of all clubs, including the putter. Appendix II gives much more detail with regard to design limitations for golf clubs. REESO putters conform to USGA rules. In compliance with Appendix II, 4.1a(iii), REESO putters give the golfer weight and lie angle adjustability within the USGA rules. Each REESO Putter Instruction Manual includes a copy of the letters of conformity from the USGA in Appendix C. The USGA rules also address the issue of the putting stroke itself. Rule 16-1(e) states that, "The player shall not make a stroke on the putting green from a stance astride, or with either foot touching the line of the putt or an extension of that line behind the ball." You may take any type of putting stance you like so long as your feet are not straddling the imaginary line running from the cup to the ball and beyond. The Long, Side Saddle and Face-On putting styles we describe all conform to USGA Rule 16-1(e).
What is Face-On putting?
Face-on putting is a revolutionary new putting style introduced by renowned sports psychologist Dr. David Cook in hes newly released book "Golf's Sacred Journey". REESO Putters has teamed up with Dr. Cook to make available the REESO-COOK Face-On putter. Please see the Putting Methods Explained Tip in our Golf Tips section. Do you have any videos showing how to use a Long putter?
I want my putter extra heavy. Is your heavy weight option how I get this?
Yes, we can increase the adjustable weight range from 0-132 grams up to 0-172 grams by using 4 tungsten weights instead of 2 tungsten and two brass weights in the two rear weight ports. There is a $20 upcharge for this option when you select it on the order page.
How can I be sure your putter will help me?
Putting is a very individualized part of golf. We have thousands of very satisfied users but there is no way to be sure how a putter will work for you without trying it first. That is why we offer our No Hassle 60 day Money Back Guarantee to protect you.
Are there any golf professionals using your putter?
Since we do not pay any one to use our putter it is a little difficult to know for sure. We do know John Ross a recent new comer to the Champions Tour has done quite well using a REESO putter. He has qualified for and played in numerous Champions Tour events this year including the U.S. Senior Open. John sank a 45 foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to qualify for the Open. Also, John recently won a satellite tour event shooting a 64 in his opening round. We also have several golf schools using our putter as the key part of their putting teaching. We know there are additional Champions, Canadian and Australasian tour players using our putter also. And, based on the excellent ongoing feedback on the REESO putter family, we expect our putter to be used by Nationwide, PGA and LPGA tour players in the very near future.
What can I do to best take care of my putter and avoid dings, scratches, etc?
Always use the REESO head cover when you return your putter to your golf bag. When hitting short shots to the green requires you to bring several clubs with you to select from, don't drop the putter to the ground along with the unused other clubs.
How often should I retighten the weight adjustment screws on my putter head?
Once tightened they should rarely, if ever, need to be retightened. However, to be safe they should be checked and retightened before any USGA competitive round.
