REESO Conventional Putter Fitting
Conventional putter fitting for length is easy once a couple of key variables are set.
The three keys to
selecting the correct length are:
- 1) Ball position - should be in the middle of your stance
- 2) Your posture - do you prefer to stand erect or to bend over somewhat?
- 3) Do you putt with your elbows bent or do you let your arms hang down essentially straight?
For best results, you want to make sure your eyes are over the ball/target line or just inside the ball/target line when you are setup to putt.
When your ball position, posture and arm setup are determined then the correct length for your putter is measured from the ground under the ball position up to the top of your top putting hand.
Once you have selected the correct length for your posture and setup you will want to make sure the putter lie angle is adjusted so that the putter is soled properly (flat on the ground). You do not want the heel or toe of the putter up in the air. This adjustment is easy to do with the REESO VTX putter.
